EGA International provides excellent group Residential Courses in CORK City. Based in Cork City College of Technology Campus with modern and well-equipped residential accommodation.

15 Classes English Language Tuition. Monday – Friday. Maximum 8 - 14 students per class level. All course material provided. Initial level test and placement according to standard of CEFR.

Qualified native EFL teachers. Course Completion Certificate.

Full Board Residential accommodation in individual or twin room apartments, on campus self-service laundry.

Cork City Bus Pass, 24 hour Medical service.

Supervision by college staff, Official Reception by the Lord Mayor at Cork City Hall.

Coach transfer Cork airport/campus/Cork airport.

EGA International provides excellent group Residential Courses in CORK City. Based in Cork City College of Technology Campus with modern and well-equipped residential accommodation.

Cork City is Ireland’s second city and is a lively and vibrant centre with all the attractions a modern city has to offer the young visitors. Cork International airport is just 20 minutes from the College Campus.

The Academic Course

15 Hours – 5 Levels English Class per week. Course material provided.

Level assessments are based on the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) following the criteria of the Council of Europe.

On completion of the course, each student receives a certificate of completion and recognition of the language level attained within the CEFR.

EGA International instills confidence in our students by encouraging them to speak English at all times and in many different situations - both on and off campus. Students should bring bilingual dictionary and writing material.

The Campus

The International campus has a full range of modern academic and extra-curricular facilities. These include audio-visual classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, function rooms, theatres, shops, gymnasium, medical centre, banks, swimming-pools, athletic tracks, stadiums.


Full board provided on site. Students live in individual bedrooms in a modern complex adjacent to and connected to the campus by a private walkway.

Bed linen and domestic towels provided. Personal towel for swimming pool is not provided. Laundry service is also available on campus. Student leaders also reside in the same buildings and are always at hand to assist and attend to the students. Entrance to student rooms is only possible with personal swipe card.


The course includes a very wide range of academic and extra-curricular activities which are focused on the cultural and language aspects of the student’s stay in Ireland.

Mobile phones, iPod etc. cannot be used on campus between - 2pm. Monday to Friday. It is recommended that you bring mobile charger and adaptor from 2 pin to 3 pin square socket. Course Director or campus staff are not responsible for any theft, loss or damage to personal electronic equipment during the course.

Supervision and Contact

Supervision is constant 24 hours a day. Every student can contact their group leader and/or the Course Director at any time during the day or night. 24 hour CCTV and campus security staff.

Afternoon & Evening Activity Programme:

- 2 x Sports afternoons. –

- Basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, table-tennis, athletics, aerobics.

- 2 x Educational/Cultural afternoons. –

- 1 x free afternoon weekly for study, rest, shopping, laundry etc.

- Evenings.– Language related activities- video, music, supervised evening Disco.

- Saturday. Full day Excursion. * Packed Lunch.

- Sunday. 12pm. – 6pm:

Swimming/City centre visit. cultural activities * Packed Lunch.

- Not included:

- Free Internet facilities are not available on campus.

- Private Medical Insurance or Ophthalmic or dental fees.
