With over 25 years’ experience, EGA International knows exactly what makes the perfect young learner programme – exceptional host families, academic excellence and an exciting cultural and social programme. Your child’s welfare and learning experience is our number one priority.

Our summer Language and Activities camp in Killarney receives hundreds of students every summer from Spain, France, Italy, and other countries.

All our host families are known directly by our Director – Francisco Palomino Mora… “I personally visit and inspect all family homes on our database and interview all our host families. We carefully match individual preferences between our international mix of students and local host families. This is a fundamental component of our Junior Course as a clean, comfortable and happy home atmosphere is vital for learning and advancement.”

These courses offer a combination of language tuition in the mornings, sporting and cultural activities in the afternoons. Private bus transport to and from class centre. Evenings and Sundays are given over to relaxing and enjoying time with host family and fellow students. Students are also divided by age and ability into various class centres. Our policy is not to mix very young students with older teens.

The students are carefully graded on their arrival and levels range from beginners to advanced. Level assessments are based on the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages {CEFR} following the criteria of the Council of Europe.

Junior English and Activity Course consists of 15 lessons of formal tuition in the mornings, afternoon programme of multi-sports, fantastic nautical sports, weekly excursions, supervised Junior Disco, Combat Paint Ball etc.
